Quick & Easy Lemonade Scones

A simple scone recipe for the whole family to enjoy. Perfect for morning or afternoon tea and extra delicious with Vinofood Sparkling Strawberry Jam or Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • ¼ cup caster sugar
  • ½ cup thickened cream
  • ½ cup lemonade
  • 2 tbsp milk


Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 220°C.

  2. Combine sifted flour and sugar in a large bowl with a pinch of salt. Gently stir in cream and lemonade and mix into a dough.

  3. Turn out onto floured bench and press until 2cm thick. Cut out and place on tray and brush with milk.

  4. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.

  5. Serve with a pot of tea or coffee, a big dollop of cream and Vinofood Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam or Sparkling Strawberry Jam.
