Quick & Easy Lemonade Scones
A simple scone recipe for the whole family to enjoy. Perfect for morning or afternoon tea and extra delicious with Vinofood Sparkling Strawberry Jam or Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam
Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- ½ cup thickened cream
- ½ cup lemonade
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 220°C.
- Combine sifted flour and sugar in a large bowl with a pinch of salt. Gently stir in cream and lemonade and mix into a dough.
- Turn out onto floured bench and press until 2cm thick. Cut out and place on tray and brush with milk.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Serve with a pot of tea or coffee, a big dollop of cream and Vinofood Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam or Sparkling Strawberry Jam.
