Steak Sandwich With Onion, Thyme & Red Wine Jam

Ingredients
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 600g rump steak salt and pepper
- 4 rounded tbsp whole egg mayonnaise
- 2 flat tbsp Vinofood White Wine Dijon Mustard
- 4 heaped tbsp Vinofood Onion, Thyme and Red Wine Jam
- 4 Turkish bread rolls or similar 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
- 4 handfuls rocket leaves 40g red onion, finely sliced
Method
- Rub olive oil over the steak.
- Heat up a barbecue hotplate and cook the steak to your liking.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Rest the steak for 5 minutes then slice into strips.
- Mix mayonnaise with White Wine Dijon Mustard to make ‘Dijonaise’, spread it on one side of the roll.
- Spread Onion, Thyme and Red Wine Jam on the other side of the roll.
- Layer the roll with steak, tomato, rocket and red onion.
