Merlot Barbecue Wings
Get ready to spice up your next dinner party with these delicious Merlot BBQ Chicken Wings! Coated in a mouth-watering blend of Vinofood Merlot BBQ Sauce, dried parsley, garlic powder, and other savoury seasonings, these wings are baked to perfection in just 50 minutes.

Ingredients for Wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100ml Vinofood Merlot BBQ Sauce, extra for dipping 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 flat tbsp garlic powder salt and pepper
- 1kg chicken wings 200g celery, batons
- 1 fresh red chilli, finely chopped
- 2 heaped tbsp spring onions, finely chopped
Ingredients for Dill Dipping Sauce
- 3 heaped tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 heaped tbsp whole egg mayonnaise
- 1 flat tsp garlic powder
- ¾ medium lemon, juiced
- 2 rounded tbsp sharp parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 2 tbsp spring onions, finely chopped
- 1 heaped tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped salt and pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom element function.
- Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Tip olive oil, Vinofood Merlot BBQ Sauce, parsley, garlic powder, salt and pepper into a large bowl and mix together.
- Add the chicken wings and coat them with the sauce.
- Place the wings on the tray in a single layer.
- Put the tray in the oven on the middle shelf.
- Bake for 30 minutes then turn the wings over and bake for another 20 minutes or until fully cooked and golden.
- In the meantime, mix all ingredients for the dill dipping sauce together in a small bowl and chill in the fridge.
- Once the chicken wings are ready serve them on a platter with celery sticks, a bowl of dill dipping sauce and a bowl of Merlot BBQ Sauce.
- Garnish with chilli and spring onions.
