Scones with Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam
Move over scones, our Boysenberry & Shiraz Jam takes the limelight in this delicious snack, add a dollop of cream and this is a taste sensation you will want to repeat.
Ingredients
2 cups self raising flour
½ cup thickened cream
1 cup lemonade
2 tbsp milk
Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 220°C.
Combine sifted flour and sugar in a large bowl with a pinch of salt.
Gently stir in cream and lemonade and mix into a dough.
Turn out onto floured bench and press until 2cm thick.
Cut out and place on tray and brush with milk.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
Serve with a pot of tea or coffee, a big dollop of cream and boysenberry and shiraz jam
