Savoury Bites with Fig Chutney

Ingredients
- 1 sheet 25cm x 25cm all butter puff pastry, thawed and cold
- 50g feta cheese, crumbled
- 50g prosciutto, finely sliced
- 8 rounded tsp Vinofood Fig, Apple and Chardonnay Chutney
- 4 stems fresh thyme (extra for optional garnish)
- 1 egg (whisked for egg wash) cracked pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
- Cut the pastry into 16 equal squares.
- Score a square shape into each piece of pastry making a 1cm border.
- Place each piece of pastry onto a flat baking tray lined with baking paper, leaving a 2cm space between each.
- Put feta crumbs and a bit of scrunched up prosciutto onto each scored square.
- Egg wash the exposed pastry edges then sprinkle all over with cracked pepper and some fresh thyme leaves.
- Put int the oven for 10 minutes on the middle shelf until golden and puffy.
- Cool on a wire rack.
- Dollop ½ a tsp of Fig, Apple and Chardonnay Chutney on top of each pastry.
- Garnish with fresh thyme.
